It does not suffice to guide people, that words be put to people and that messages be sent to them. This is because Man by his Creation takes better heed when he sees a foothold and a model for that which he pursues.
For this reason, Allah sent us the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam whose lifetime is a model and an example on how this life should be lived. Can’t you see that Aishah radiyallahu anha when asked about the character of the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam she said: ‘His Character was the Qur’an’?
And the Companions who learnt from him and studied from his wisdom were exemplars in their own right and whosoever studied their lifetimes and looked into their legacies sees what his journey on earth should be like.
The Companions of the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam so much embodied the Message of Islam that it sufficed for them to present themselves and their lives to the Kuffaar to invite them into Islam.
The accumulation of the Ideals, Precepts and Values of Islam took physical form in Madinah in the time of the Rasul salallahu alayhi wasallam, and in the khilafah after him.
Generations after Generations, millions of People accepted Islam and became Muslims through the influence of the example of life and the Civilization presented by the Khilafah, at which peak it covered almost a third of the world.
Islam spread through the world, not by the sword to imply forced conversions, but by the influence of its examples, the loftiness of its institutions, the justice in its legal system and the power of its intellectual heritage.
Today, the banners of Islam have fallen and the attempts to awaken the Ummah is suppressed and the Believers are called upon to not surrender and accept the dominance of Kufr over Islam.
We ask Allah to grant again for the Ummah its Days of Glory..
