_Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullāh-_
Said:
It was reported that qais Ibn Sa’d Ibn ‘ubādah fell sick, then some of his relatives stopped visiting him because they are indebted to him: Then he said: May Allāh destroy the wealth that prevents relatives from visitation. Then he said he has overlooked all the debt.
A man visited Sa’īd Ibn Al-‘as asking for a request, then he gave him one thousand dirham, the man then cried. Sa’īd said: what makes you to be crying? He said: I cried because I am scared that the earth may swallow you soon, then Sa’īd ordered that he should be given more one hundred thousand dirham.
