📬 DAILY POST#346
_Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-_
Said:
*CUSTOMARY EVILS, AND MAKING INKAR ON THE RULERS, AND COMMANDING THEM TO DO GOOD.*
Know verily that, the customary evils are countless, but we will summarize them into few lines;
*The munkarāt of the Masājid(evils found in the mosques):*While in the mosque, many people don’t give prayer its due rights because they lack tranquility in their rukūú and sujūd and some of them may even leave those things that may affect the authenticity of their salah such as some najasa(impurity) on their cloth, or not facing the Al-Qiblah due to darkness
Of it, is the grammatical mistake in the recitation of the Glorious Qur’an by the Imām.
And of it, is the adding of new words to the ādhān by the Mu’azzin and elongating its vowels incorrectly.
And of it, is for the khatīb(speeker) to wear silk cloth, or on his hand there is a golden sword.
And of it, is the settling of dispute and making qisās in the masājid with the wrong information and lies and those things that are forbidden in the Shari’a like indulging in some discussion that may lead to great fitna.
And of it, is the mixing of the opposite sex in the mosque, thus, one is highly recommended to make inkār on them.
Amongst these evils, some are Haram while some are makrūh.
