DAILY POST #113
Imaam Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah – said:
It is reported from Mua’wiya radiyallaahu anhu- who said – The Messenger of Allah -salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
Whosoever Allah wishes good for, He bestows upon him the deep understanding of the Deen.”Agreed upon.
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam Bukhaari in his “Sahih”#71 and Imaam Muslim in his “Sahih”#1037.
COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
♦ It indicates that whosoever Allah wishes good for, He bestows upon him the comprehensive understanding of the deen.
♦ It shows the importance of having deep understanding of the deen and it is not given to any person except the one who Allah Wishes good for in this dunya and Hereafter.
♦ It indicates that whosoever Allah does not wish good for, He will not give him deep understanding of the deen.
♦ It shows the nobility of Fiqh upon other different science of knowledge.
