It is reported from Ibn Mas’ud radiyallaahu anhu- who said – The Messenger of Allah -salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“Verily, among what people have understood from the words of the earliest prophecies is :“If you do not feel any shame, do whatever you want.”

COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
♦ It shows that if one does not feel any shame in committing sins, then it is easy for him to do whatever he want without checking whether it is Halaal or Haraam and Allah will surely reward him accordingly.
♦ It indicates that one who has no shyness, can do what ever he wants without feeling guilty of the act. This means his heart is totally dead because of lack of shyness.
♦ Lastly, what it means by the “words of the earliest prophecies” in the hadith is; what they all agreed upon and it is not abrogated the way their sharia was abrogated because it is what the sound mind concurrs with.
