Imaam Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah – said:
It is reported from Abu Hurairah radiyallaahu anhu- who said – The Messenger of Allah -salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“Allah-The Almighty says:” I am with my slave when he remembers me and his lips move with my remembrance.”
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam Ibn Majah in his “Sunan”#815. Shaykh Al-Albaani declared it as Sahih in Sahihu Al-Jami’#1902.
COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
♦ It indicates that Allah Subuhanahu wata’ala is with his servant when he remembers Him. This means that Allah will always assist him in his affairs, guide him and be pleased with him.
♦ It shows the importance of remembering Allah Subuhanahu wata’ala.
♦ It encourages making zikr of Allah and discourages headlessness
