Imaam Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah said:
It is reported from Abu Hurairah radiyallaahu anhu- who said The Messenger of Allah -salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
Meaning: Two phrases which are beloved to Allah and are light on the tongue but heavy in the scale are: “How perfect Allah is and I praise Him; and How perfect Allah is, the Most Great” Agreed upon.
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam Bukhaari in his “Sahih”#6406 and Imaam Muslim in his Sahih#2694.
COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
♦ It shows the importance of the Du’a.
♦ It encourages one to by saying the above Zikr.
♦ It indicates that the Two phrases which are near to Allah are;
“Subhaanallahi wabihamdihi, Subhaanallahil Azeem.”
