DAILY POST #24
It was once said to the Imaam Abdullah bn Al-Mubaarak – rahimahullah – (who passed away 181H) by one of his students:
“Are there people left (in the Ummah) who give sincere, frank and honest advices?”
So he answered:
“And do you know of people who accept (corrections and advices)?”

Dear Respected Brothers and Sisters! It is a rare thing in the Ummah to have sincere believers who render pure, honest, sincere, candid and caring advices and counsels. But it is rarer to find people who whole-heartedly accept, appreciate and act on advices given to them. But to give sincere advices and to whole-heartedly accept advices and corrections are attributes that the believer never lacks – as long as he is a believer.
Let us learn to be people of that nature
Jazaakumullaahu khayran; baarakallaahu feekum!
