Imaam Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah – said:
It is reported from Jaabir Ibn Abdullah
radiyallaahu anhu- who said The Messenger of Allah – salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“Every act of goodness is considered as sadaqah( charity).”
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam Bukhaari in his ”Adabul Mufrad”#677.
COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
- It shows that Allah does not overlook any good act of his servant. Allah will surely reward his servant for his good actions.
2. It shows that any good action is considered as sadaqah.
3. It indicates that one should hasten for good actions and no good action should be belittled.
4. It indicates the beauty of Islam in directing the Ummah towards success and what will benefit them.
