_Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-_
Said:
*DEGREES OF FORBIDDING EVIL.*
Know verily that, it is reported in an authentic Hadith that the Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu àlayhi wasallam said:
_”من رأى منكم منكرا فليغيره بيده، فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه، فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه، وذلك أضعف الإيمان”_
_”Whosoever of you sees something wrong, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable, then let him change it with his tongue. If is unable, then with his heart. This is the weakest degree of imān.”_
Transmitted and Recorded by Imām Muslim in his ‘Sahih’#49.
In another Hadith, which is reported by Abu Saíd radiyallāhu anhu, The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu àlayhi wasallam said:
_”أفضل الجهاد كلمة حق عند سلطان جائر”_
_”The best of jihad is speaking the truth to an unjust ruler.”_
Transmitted and Recorded by Imām Abu Dawud in ‘Sunan#4344. And our beloved Shaykh Al Albāni declared it as Sahih in ‘Assilsilatu Assahīhah’#491.
Lastly, The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu àlayhi wasallam also said:
_”إن الناس إذا رأوا المنكر فلم يغيروه أوشك أن يعمهم الله بعذاب”_
_”Verily, When people see evil and they do not change it, Allāh will soon cover them with His punishment. “_
Transmitted and Recorded by Ibn Mājar in his ‘Sunan’#4005. Shaykh Muqbil Ibn Hādī declared it as Sahih in ‘Al Jāmí Assahīh mimmā Laisa Fi Assahīhayn'(5/129).
