٩ – قال الإمام ابن جزي -رحمه اللّه-:
قال اللّه تعالىٰ :
{وَكُلُواْ وَٱشْرَبُواْ وَلَا تُسْرِفُوٓاْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا
يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ} [الأعْراف: ٣١]
أي: لا تُكثروا من الأكل فوق الحاجة،
وقال الأطباء: إنّ الطب كله مجموع
في هذه الآية الكريمة.
التسهيل لعلوم التنزيل ( ١ / ٢٨٧ )
The Imaam Ibn Juzayy rahimahullah said in his Commentary on the Verse:
_”Eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters”_
He said:
_”It means: do not eat more than is required. And the Doctors have said: all of medicine is encompassed in this illustrious verse”_

One of the major problems that lead to complications in health, as it is known to health professionals today, is over eating or ever drinking. Let’s be moderate, we are Muslims.
