Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:
And ponder oh beloved one over your Hisāb before your Lord regarding your deeds without any mediator.
It is reported from Abī Barzatah who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam that He said:
No one will be dismissed unless he is questioned about four things: his life and how he has spent it: his deeds and how he has enacted them: his property and how he has earned and spent it: and his body and how he has exhausted.
Transmitted by Imām At-tirmidhī (7/105). And Shaykh Al-Albānī declared it as Hasan in As-Sahīhah#946.
It is reported from Safwān Ibn Muhriz who said:
While I was walking with Ibn ‘Umar Radiyallāhu anhuma holding his hand, a man came in front of us and asked, ‘What have you head from the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam about An-Najwa? Ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam saying, ‘Allah will bring a believer near Him and Shelter him with His Screen and ask him: Did you commit such and such sins? He will say: Yes, my Lord. Allah will keep on asking him until he will confess all his sins and will think that he is ruined. Allah will say: I did cover your sins in the Dunya and I forgive them for you today. And then he will be given the book of his good deeds. Regarding infidels and hypocrites ( their evil acts will be exposed publicly) and the witnesses will say:
These are the people who lied against their Lord. Behold! The Curse of Allāh is upon the wrongdoers. Sūratu Hūd, Verse 18

In the Sahīhayn, from Hadīth Abī Sa’īd from the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam that He said:
A bridge would be set over the Hell, and I and my Ummah would be the first to pass over it.
Transmitted by Imām Muslim#182.
The Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam also said:
The bridge would be set up over the Hell and intercession would be allowed and they will say: O Allah, Keep us Safe, keep us Safe. It was said: Oh the Messenger of Allāh, what’s this bridge? He said: The void in which one is likely to slip. There would be hooks, tongs, and spits like the thorn that is found in Najd and is known as Sa’dan. The believers would then pass over within the twinkling of an eye, like lightning, like wind, like a bird, like the finest horses and camels. Some will escape and be safe, some will be lacerated and let go, and some will be pushed into the Hell until the believers will find rescue from the Fire.
