3) حب الصحابة كلهم لي مذهب.
ومودة القربى بها أتوسل
Love of all the companions is my Madh’ab.
And with love of the Households(of the Rasūl Salallāhu’alayhi wasallam) I do seek closeness to Allāh.
SHAR’H.
The Sahābiyy is the one who saw the Rasūl Salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam, believed in him and died upon Īmān. To Love all the companions, may Allāh be pleased with them all, is one of the characteristics of the people of Sunnah which contradicts the misguided sects like shiates who not only abuse the companions, but went to the extent of making takfir on most of them except few. Hence, Loving them is a form of Īmān and hating them is a form of nifāq.
Also, to love the Households of the Rasūl Salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam is part of Īmān, that which contradicts the misguided nawāsib sects, those who only love the companions and hate the Households of the Rasūl Salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam)
Therefore, one is encouraged to get closer to Allāh by loving them( i.e the companions and the Households of the Rasūl Salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam) because it is a sign of Īmān. For it is through the companions and the Households of the Rasūl Salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam, that Allāh uplifted the Dīn and they bear the burden of passing the message to the next generation.
Why shouldn’t one love them and follow their path?
Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
30th Shawwal, 1441H.
