CONCLUSION ON THE NIGHT
1. The night is not specified to one fix night throughout the years, rather it changes constantly according to Allah’s will and wisdom but what is certain is that it comes in one of the odd number nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan.
2. The night proceeds the day in Islam. For example last night was the night of 25th Ramadan.
3. The night ends as fajr enters (at dawn).
GENERAL LESSONS
1. Every Muslim should seek it on the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan but most preferable is to use all the last nights of Ramadan for Ibaadah for one to be sure of witnessing the night (in other not to be affected by mistake in counting due to wrong sighting of the moon as happened in the past).
2. The last ten days and night of Ramadan should be a turning point for any form of inactiveness, slackening and laziness in the earlier part of Ramadan.
