_Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-_
Said:
Amongst the miracles of the noble prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam, is the throwing of a handful of dust into the faces of the enemy and eyes of the enemy were all filled with the dust from this handful. In this regard, Salamah Ibn Al-Akwai’ reported a hadith in its accordance which is transmitted by Imām Muslim in his ‘Sahih’#1777.
Also amongst the miracles of the Messenger sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam is the making of sound by the trunk of date palms like that of a pregnant she-camel. In this context, It is reported from Anas bin Malik- radiyallāhu anhu who said that he heard Jabir bin `Abdullah- radiyallāhu anhumā saying:
_”The roof of the Mosque was built over trunks of date palms working as pillars. Then whenever the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam wants to deliver a sermon, he used to stand by one of those trunks, then when the munbar was made for him, and he was standing on it, we then heard the trunk sending a sound like that of a pregnant she-camel till the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam came to it, and put his hand over it, then it became quiet._
In addition, amongst the miracles of the Messenger of Allah sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam is where the Messenger sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam applied saliva to the eyes of ‘Aliyy radiyallāhu anhu which are sore and he became cured as if he had no ailment at all. This hadith is reported by Sahl Ibn sa’d radiyallāhu anhu and transmitted by Imām Muslim in his ‘Sahih’#2406.
Transmitted and recorded by Imām Al-Bukhārī in his ‘Sahih’#3585.
And other miracles apart from the ones we made mentioned which are well known and recorded in books and history and there is no way by which the enemies of Islam could hide them.
Lastly, we beseech Allāh Ta’āla to give us tawfiq in following the sunnah and the attributes of His Messenger sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam, for verily, He is all generous and answering.
