The Most Beloved Food to the Messenger salallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam is Meat.

_Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-_
Said:

_The Most beloved food to the Messenger sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam is meat.

In this regard, It is reported Abu Musa Radiyallāhu anhu who said_The Messenger of Allah sallallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

_”ﻛَﻤَﻞَ ﻣِﻦْ ﺍﻟﺮِّﺟَﺎﻝِ ﻛَﺜِﻴﺮٌ ﻭَﻟَﻢْ ﻳَﻜْﻤُﻞْ ﻣِﻦْ ﺍﻟﻨِّﺴَﺎﺀِ ﺇِﻟَّﺎ ﺁﺳِﻴَﺔُ ﺍﻣْﺮَﺃَﺓُ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥَ ﻭَﻣَﺮْﻳَﻢُ ﺑِﻨْﺖُ ﻋِﻤْﺮَﺍﻥَ ﻭَﺇِﻥَّ ﻓَﻀْﻞَ ﻋَﺎﺋِﺸَﺔَ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟﻨِّﺴَﺎﺀِ ﻛَﻔَﻀْﻞِ ﺍﻟﺜَّﺮِﻳﺪِ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺳَﺎﺋِﺮِ ﺍﻟﻄَّﻌَﺎﻡِ”_

_”There were many men who achieved perfection and none were perfect among women except Asiya the wife of Pharaoh and Maryam the daughter of Ímrān. Verily, the virtue of Aisha over other women is as the virtue of a fine stew over other foods.”_

Transmitted and recorded by Imām Al Bukhāri in his Sahih#3411.

_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam loves the shoulder part of lamb. This is in accordance to a hadith transmitted by Imām Ahmad in his ‘Musnad’#8359.

_ The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam loves gourd

In this context, Ishāq Ibn ‘Abdullāh Ibn Abī talhah said: I heard I Anas Ibn Mālik radiyallāhu anhu saying:

_”A tailor invited the Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam to a meal which he had prepared. I accompanied the Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam to that meal. He served the prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam with bread and soup made with gourd and dried meat. I saw the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam taking the pieces of gourd from the dish._”Anas added, since that day I have continued to like gourd.
