_Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-_
Said:
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam sometimes rides on a donkey. This hadith is reported by Usāmah Ibn Zaid radiyallāhu anhu and transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#2607.
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu alayhi wasallam loves perfumes. This is reported by ummunā ‘Aishah radiyallāhu anha in a hadith transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#5928.
_And the Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam hates abnormal smell like that of garlic. This hadith is reported by Anas radiyallāhu anhu and transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī in his ‘Sahih’#5451 and Imām Muslim in his ‘Sahih’#2053.
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam used to honour people of status, and He does associate with the people of honor, and He doesn’t treat others harshly, and He used to accept the excuses of others. This is in accordance to the qissah of Hātib Ibn Abī balt’ah transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#5451 from ‘Aliyy Ibn Abī Tālib radiyallāhu anhu.
The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam used to ride on she-camel.
In this regard, it is reported from Ibn ‘Umar radiyallāhu anhu who said:
_”Verily, The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam came to Mecca through its higher region on the day of Fath(conquest of Mecca) riding his she-camel on which Usāmah was riding behind”._
Transmitted and recorded by Imām Al-Bukhārīin his ‘Sahih’#2988.
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam at times do ride on she-mule.
In this context, it is reported from ‘Ali Ibn Abī radiyallāhu anhu who said:
_”The Messenger of Allah sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam was present with a she-mule which he rode,…..”_
