_Imaam Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullaah-_
Said:
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi never criticized any food.
In this regard, It is reported from Abu Hurairah radiyallāhu anhu who said:
_”ماعاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم طعاما قط، إن اشتهاه أكله، وإلا تركه._”
_”The never criticized any food, if he liked it he would eat; otherwise, he would leave it.”_
Transmitted and recorded by Imām Al-Bukhārī in ‘Sahih’#3563.
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu àlayhi wasallam doesn’t eat while leaning against something.
In this context, it is reported from ‘Aliyy Ibn Al-Aqmar radiyallāhu anhu who said: I heard Abu juhaifah, saying; The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam said:
_”لا آكل متكئا”_
_”I don’t eat while leaning against something.”_
Transmitted and recorded by Imām Al-Bukhārī in his ‘Sahih’#5398.
_The Messenger of Allāh sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam used to eat that which is nearer to Him of dish.
In this, ‘Umar Ibn Abī salmah radiyallāhu anhu said: The Messenger of Allāh said to me:
_”Oh ghulam mention the Name of Allāh and eat with your right hand and eat of the dish what is nearer to you.”_
