The Rahmah of Allāh Ta’āla.

📬 DAILY POST#711

Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:

The Rahmah of Allāh Ta’āla.

We shall conclude this book of ours with mentioning the blessings of Allāh Ta’āla, we hope with that His virtues; since we have nothing to seek for His forgiveness rather than that.

Allāh Ta’āla says:

Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful.

Sūratu Az-Zumar, Verse 53.

It is reported from Abū Hurairah Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

When Allāh Ta’āla completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His throne, My Mercy overpowers My Anger.

Transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#3194 and Imām Muslim#2751.

It is also reported from Abū Hurairah Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

The Almighty Has a Hundred Mercies. He Has sent only one to the earth whereby all humans, jinn, insects and animals treat in mercy amongst themselves. Likewise, wild animals are merciful to their infants because of it. He has withheld the remaining ninety nine to be Merciful to His servants on the Day of Resurrection.

Transmitted by Imām Muslim#2752.

It is reported from Abī Dharr Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

The Almighty says, whoever does good, he will have its rewards ten times or more. Whoever does a sin will be punished for it alone or forgiven.

Transmitted by Imām Muslim#2687.

In the Sahīhayn, from the Hadīth of ‘Umar Radiyallāhu anhu who said:

Some war prisoners were brought before the prophet and there was a woman amongst them who was milking her breasts to feed and whenever she found a child amongst the captives, she took it over her chest and nursed it( she had lost her child but later she found him). Then the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said to us: Do you think this lady can throw her son in the fire? We replied: No, if she has the power not to throw it (in the fire). The Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said: Allāh is more Merciful to His servants than this lady to her son.

Transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#5999.

In the Sahīhayn, from the Hadīth Abī Dharr Radiyallāhu anhu who said: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

I came to the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam while he was wearing white clothes and sleeping. Then I went back to him again after he had got up from his sleep. He said: Nobody says: None Has the right to be worshipped but Allāh,’ and then later on he dies while believing in that, except that he will enter Paradise. I said: Even if he had committed Zinā and theft. The Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:Even if he had committed Zinā and theft, in spite the abhorrence of Abū Dharr.

Transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī1237 and Imām Muslim#94.

‘Atbān Ibn Mālik Radiyallāhu anhu also reported that: the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said:

Verily, Allāh Has prohibited fire to torture him who says, Lā Ilāha ILLallāh(There is God but Allāh) seeking His Face thereby.

Transmitted by Imām Al-Bukhārī#6423 and Imām Muslim#33.

Allāhu A’alām.
Bārakallāhu fīkum.
Jazākumullahu Khayran.
