Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi-rahimahullāh-
Said:
Know that, Allāh Ta’āla Has Talked about the pleasure in Jannah in the Glorious Qur’an.
Allah says:
…وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
…and drinking-cups and therein shall be what their souls yearn after and (wherein) the eyes shall delight, and you shall abide therein.
Sūratu Az-zukhruf, Verse 71.
Allah says:
فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَّا أُخْفِيَ لَهُم مِّن قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
So no soul knows what is hidden for them of that which will refresh the eyes; a reward for what they did.
Sūratu A-Sajadah, Verse 17.
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يَبْغُونَ عَنْهَا حِوَلًا
Abiding therein; they shall not desire removal from them.
Sūratu Al-Kahf, Verse 108.
Lastly, it is reported in the Sahīhayn from Abū Hurairah Radiyallāhu anhu who said:
It was said to the Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam: Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said: Yes, do you have any difficulty in seeing the Sun at midday when it is bright and there is no cloud in the Sky? They replied, No: He said: Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full moon Night when it is bright and there is no cloud in the sky? They replied, No. The Rasūl Salallāhu alayhi wasallam said: Similarly, you will have no difficulty in seeing Allāh on the Day of Resurrection as you have no difficulty in seeing either of them.
