_Imām Ibn Qudāmah Al-Maqdisi -rahimahullāh-_
Said:
In addition, the materials of the dunya should be made insignificant to the child, this will assist the child in terms of sharing what he has with others.
The child should be warned from bad attitudes within a gathering such as yawning, spitting, putting hand in the nose and placing one of his leg on the other.
The child be discouraged from indulging on unnecessary discussions and matters that has no benefits and he should only talk when there is need for it. And when others are talking, he should listen to them attentively.
In gathering, the child should be encouraged to give up his sit to those that are older and higher in status than him, for this is an act of respect.
The child should be discouraged from mingling with bad friends who lacks manners, for the best way to safeguard a child from evils, is to prevent him from moving with bad companies.
After learning in the madrasah, the child should be given a little free space to play in order to refresh himself.
The child should be encouraged to obey his parent, teachers and respect them all. If his age is up to seven years, he should be authorized to pray and carryout purification properly so that he will get use to it.
Lastly, he should be warned and discouraged from lying and deception.
