"Daily Post #212"

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Hadith on the virtue of a fasting person )

عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص –رضي الله عنهما- عن النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم- أنه قال: “إن للصائم عند فطره لدعوة ما ترد”
أخرجه ابن ماجه .

On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr -radiyaAllahu anhu – who said that the prophet-salallaahu alayhi wasallam – said: “verily the fasting person has his du’a (supplications) not rejected at the time of iftar”
Ibn Majah

LESSONS FROM THE HADITH

1. It shows the virtues of the supplication of the fasting person.

2. The time of iftar is among the specific moment one can easily have his supplications answered by Allah.

3. One should increase his du’a (supplications) in this blessed month especially during the time of iftar.

May Allah accept our supplications in this blessed month of Ramadan, Aameen.

JazaakumuLLahu Khayran.
