- ANSWER
Wa alaykum salaam warahmatullaah wabarakaatuh
And Baarakallaahu feekum too.
Alhamdulillaah!
We hope that the dream you have described is of the dreams of the pious ones that Allah shows the believers. The Rasul – salallaahu alayhi wsallam – said:
“The pious dream is a 1/46 of prophet hood.”
It is transmitted by Al-Bukhaari from Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri – radiyallaahu an’hu.
As for its interpretation, we say – and Allah knows best – that it is an indication from Allah to the one who saw the dream that he needs to take his promises, oaths, appointments and covenants more serious if he wants to earn Jannah. And must not abandon calling his family members and commanding them to give Salaat and Zakaat, and not relelnting in that, even if it is one person in his family that doesn’t hold steadfastly to Din.
Allah ta’aala said:
“And remember in the Book Ismail. He was indeed one who fulfilled oaths, promises and covenants, and he was a Messenger and Prophet. He used to command his family toward Salaat and Zakaat and he was of the of those upon whom His Lord was pleased.”
That is our interpretation of your dream, and knowledge belongs to Allah Alone.
Baarakallaahu feekum
Jazaakumullaahu khayran.
