Imaam Ibn Hajar Al-‘Asqalaani – rahimahullaah – said:
It is reported from ‘Iyad Ibn Himaar radiyallaahu anhu- who said – The Messenger of Allah -salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“Verily, Allah Subuhanahu wata’aala Has revealed to me that you should be humble to one another so that no one transgresses another, or brags to the other.”
Transmitted and recorded by Imaam Muslim in his “Sahih”#2865.
COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
♦ It indicates that it is beloved and good for one to be humble to one another.
♦ It shows that it is disliked for one to transgress the other.
♦ It shows that it is bad for one to boast to the other because of what Allah Has bestowed upon him of His bounties.
