عن زيد بن خالد الجهني- رضي الله عنه – قال قال الرسول- صلى الله عليه وسلم- من فطر صائما كان له
مثل اجره ، غير انه لا ينقص من اجر الصائم شيء
رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن
On the authority of Zaid bin Khalid Al-Jahmi radiyaLLahu anhu said that the messenger salallahu alayhi wasalam said:
“Whoever provides food for the fasting person to break his fast will receive the exact same reward as the fasting person without any reduction from the reward of the fasting person”
At-Tirmidhi.
LESSONS FROM THE HADITH
♦ We should always hasten to provide food for the fasting person as much as we can.
♦ The one who provides food to the fasting person will have the same reward for the fast of the fasting person without any reduction.
♦ The reward for any one who sincerely assist another believer in doing any righteous act is as great as the doer.
♦ The obligation of cooperating and assisting one another upon righteousness and Taqwa.
May Allah, the most High aid us in assisting our Muslim brothers. Aameen.
