Qaadi Abdulwahhaab’s Al-Ma’unah

Of the sterling writings of Qaadi Abdulwahhaab is his illustrious book Al-Ma’unah ‘Ala Madh’habi Aalimi Al-Madinah literally The Aid in Understanding the School of the Aalim of Madinah

There is no doubt that the Ma’unah is a king among the Maliki books and a standout among the books of its libraries. It doesn’t extend into comparative Fiqh but is detailed in the matters about which the Maliki Imams have discussed. Qaadi left no section or chapter untouched. He dealt with the nitty gritty of the Madh’hab expounding its popular and preponderant positions.

The Ma’unah is printed in the modern day in 2 or 3 volumes and can be studied for an Indepth understanding of the Maaliki Fiqh.
