It is reported from Abu Hurairah radiyallaahu anhu- who said – The Messenger of Allah – salallaahu alayhi wasallam said:
“Anyone who relieves a Muslim from one of the difficulties of this worldly life, Allah will relieve him of one of the difficulties of the Day of Resurrection, and anyone who makes it easy for the one who is indebted to him ( I.e finding it difficult to repay back the debt), Allah will make it easy for him in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, and anyone who conceals or hides the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah will always helps His slave as long as he helps his brother too”.

COMMENTARY
The hadith shows the importance of the following:
1. It indicates the reward of the one who relieves a Muslim from hardships or difficulties. And these hardships include any type may be sickness, poverty, debt and oppression etc.
2. It shows that one should always expect his rewards from Allah Subuhanahu-wata’ala on the day which children and wealth will be of no avail.
3. It indicates that Allah loves the person who makes easy for the one who is indebted to him( may be by reducing the amount or overlooking it completely).
4. It indicates that the one who conceals the faults or errors of a Muslim will be rewarded on the day of Resurrection. However, this is not applicable to a faasiq ( I.e someone that commits sins openly without shyness.). But rather, his affairs should be made well known to others so that they will not be harmed by his evil deeds.
5. It also shows that Allah will always assist his slave as far as he always render assistance to his brother. That means, anyone that need helps and assistance from Allah in his affairs, should rush in giving helping hands to his brother.
6. Lastly, it teaches us that deeds are rewarded in accordance with the nature ( I.e whether bad or good deeds). Allah says in Surah-Zalzala, Verse 7 and 8
“He who has done an atom’s weight of good shall see it.
And he who has done an atom’s weight of evil shall see it”.
